If you're going to be attending Miles Mac next year (or are already in the building and still haven't decided to try Football yet), then please reach out to Head Coach Dan Washnuk at dwashnuk@retsd.mb.ca and feel free to explore the rest of our website to get an idea of what we're all about.
Since Miles Mac moved to a Grades 9-12 building, we've established a great tradition of young players making an impact on our program. While we're not logistically capable of supporting a Junior Varsity team (yet), we've had a lot of success with Grade 9 and 10 players contributing in key roles. In fact, for our 2018 Team Awards, six of our ten awards went to Grade 10 players.
If you're just looking for some general information, here it is:
Any student accepted to Miles Mac can start to work out with us following Spring Break (if you are coming from another high school, please contact us) and are eligible to attend our Spring Camp in May. There will be an Information evening in Late April or Early May.
If you register with Miles Mac, but are not officially accepted by the time Spring Camp rolls around, that is okay; we will still take you on the team when we begin Summer Training in August and you can still attend the Information evening. The only exception to this would be if we have 50+ players with the team after Spring Camp; this has never happened.
If you'd like more specific information, please contact us directly. Thanks and get ready to Chase Perfection
